2010 marks the official entry of Fulcrum into the world of Enduro/Freeride biking. Fulcrum strongly believes in these spectacular specialties, and to demonstrate it we decided to offer two dedicated wheel models: Red Zone XLR and Red Zone.

Red Zone XLR and Red Zone are the absolutely newest wheels in the Fulcrum Off Road range and are the end result of a close collaboration between our R&D and the best Enduro and Freeride specialists. Climbs, downhill slopes, jumps: Red Zone XLR and Red Zone, both immediately recognisable by the high impact and aggressive look, have passed every test with flying colours, giving astonishing results in terms of lightness in climbs, reactivity and stability on descents, and safety in jumps. It’s a perfect mix for the new Fulcrum wheels dedicated to Enduro and Freeride biking. And now they’re ready for you, too, to try them out and put them to the test.

| The new Red Zone XLR Fulcrum 2010 |
It wasn’t easy to produce a wheel that would be resistant to the demanding descents of the special trials of Enduro/Freeride racing while at the same time sufficiently light to enable pedalling on the uphill tracts.
Fulcrum once again rose to the challenge and hit the mark, proposing two versions of the ultra-special Red Zone wheel which, at just 1705 g (XLR) and 1750 g, place at the top of the line of wheels created for Enduro/Freeride. The two Red Zone versions are produced with class 21 aluminium rims with special milling for lightening between one spoke and another, guaranteeing the right balance between lightness and solid performance. Fulcrum presents these wheels in two versions: thru-axle for the front (15mm or 20mm) and two versions for the rear wheel (standard – 12mm thru-axle).
The XLR version is equipped with oversize round spokes in aluminium that make give the wheel a particularly aggressive and truly exclusive look.
