A small label will be affixed to each component identifying when the item was produced and the manufacturing production lot it was produced in. Alessandro Ballan’s Fulcrum Racing Speed front wheel was the first to enter the Mapei Cycling Stadium in Varese, making Alessandro Ballan the winner of the World Road Cycling Championship’s at Varese. The Italian national coach Franco Ballerini celebrated his third consecutive world-championship success and placed two men on the podium: Ballan and Cunego, who both wear the Lampre colours.

After last week's announcement that it was entering the off-road world with a range of dedicated wheels, Fulcrum® now further increases its presence in the road sector by joining the field of componentry. Today, two crankset models are being presented at the inauguration of the International Cycle Show in Taipei: Racing Torq RS and Racing Torq R. These are two high-range cranksets in carbon fibre compatible with the main drivetrains available on the market.
