LEONARDO PAEZ WINS SELLARONDA HERO
This year Sellaronda Hero has been an exciting and exhausting race, in fact is considered the toughest MTB race in Europe with its 4.200 m in altitude.
On the first step of the podium, the Columbian Leonardo Paez and his Fulcrum Red Carbon XLR. On the women side, the victory went to Katrin Schwing.
The toughest track between the Dolomites was the fantastic background for 2012 bikers, maximum number placed by the organizing committee, from more than 26 countries.
Since the first uphill puts the gear the Columbian Leonardo Paez, winner of the first GPM at Dantercepies, star of the day after a period of turmoil marked by injuries and a parenthesis as a professional road bike rider, now returned home from the Team TX-Active Bianchi.
Paez will represent the Colombian National in the men’s MTB race at Olympic games in London.
